Client Principal

Lucent is currently recruiting a Client Principal to join a high-growth software services consultancybusiness. Reporting to C-Level, youll expand our presence and authority within key accounts to drive growth. The Client Principal

Were looking for someone who will establish and forge strong, trusted relationships with senior executives across the customer base. Youll develop a coherent understanding of their strategic objectives and uncover their most pressing challenges. Youll break down these complex problems with customers and work with technical experts to translate these into commercial proposals that will deliver exceptional value and satisfaction to our clients. Importantly, youll proactively present clients with opportunities to leverage our capabilities to boost quality, improve efficiency, reduce costs or transform their businesses, not just wait for opportunities.

Your activity will support the account managers by creating opportunities to provide sustainable growth. Your work will ensure that customers understand the breadth and depth of engagement on offer and keep them front of mind.

Ultimately, youll know you are successful in this role if youre aware of clients strategic plans, co-create the solutions that will most impact their business, and are the go-to person to support them with their execution. Youll have helped grow revenue share within accounts and opened new projects, departments, or spending areas. Customers will still have excellent levels of customer satisfaction and feel we are an invaluable resource that has exceeded their expectations.

As a Lead Client Principal, youll be responsible for

  • Driving growth through leading the innovation agenda within key clients.
  • Building and establishing relationships with senior executives.
  • Developing an understanding of customers strategic objectives and critical challenges.
  • Influencing and collaborating with customers to co-create solutions.
  • Leading and motivating teams toward success
  • Driving thought leadership on strategy, cloud, data, digital transformation and customer experience.

About You

Youll be T-shaped with skills across commercial and technical disciplines maybe youre a techy who has become commercial, or youre a commercial person who is semi-technical. Youll use your initiative to create opportunities, be an excellent communicator, and be adept at empathising with the customer.

Ideally, youll have been described as an excellent storyteller and be exceptional at using visual tools such as Miro to communicate and love collaboration and co-creating solutions with clients. A creative problem solver, youre also a trusted adviser and will use this combination of attributes to spot and solve challenges while creating software development opportunities.

Your Experience

  • Experience working in a consultancy or software services business on enterprise customer accounts where a typical project is more than £1 million is required.
  • Youll have created proposals and ideally led this process.
  • Youll have examples in your career where youve worked with C-Level to gain trusted advisor status.
  • Youll have worked with Miro or similar tools and enjoy leading workshops and meetings.
  • Digital transformation is exciting to you, and youll have a depth of knowledge in this domain.
