This fantastic Head of History opportunity will allow you to help raise attainment and standards across the history department and work alongside a range of the SLT and Senior Teachers. It will provide you the chance to develop yourself further and help install and nurture the solid foundations for this future outstanding school.

• Head of History
• Leading a team throughout the History Department
• Helping achieve Ofsted and SIAMS inspection judgements of outstanding / excellent;
• Ensuring the academic standards are high and leading from the front
• Embedding the ethos of the school

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS
• You must be a natural leader and look to coach & develop others
• Current Head of History or an experienced History teacher ready for responsibility
• Must be able to lead from the front & drive the standards
• Strong subject knowledge is essential
• Must be qualified to teach History to KS5
• Previous responsibility within a History Department is desirable, but not essential
