Overview: GCSE Maths Tutor (Part-time)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious private training provider who are seeking to appoint a part-time GCSE Maths Tutor to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of Maths GCSE qualifications.

The role is permanent and part-time, 2 and a half days per week, term time only. Start date September.

The role is peripatetic across 2 learning centres Norwich and Ipswich, with classroom delivery of GCSE Maths.

Duties: GCSE Maths Tutor (Part-time)

  • Train motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving qualifications in GCSE Maths
  • Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner
  • Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews

Qualifications and Competencies: GCSE Maths Tutor (Part-time)

  • Experience in a similar role - classroom delivery of GCSE Maths qualifications
  • Teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd or equivalent)

Salary & Benefits: GCSE Maths Tutor (Part-time)

  • £26k (pro rata 2 1/2 days per week, term time only)
  • Permanent position
