The IT Engineering team at GitHub is growing! Your customers are GitHub's global workforce - Hubbers throughout the company who rely on our systems & services every day. Our customers look to us not only for support but also to build and maintain internal tooling and configure systems, enabling Hubbers to do their best work with the least amount of friction.
We're looking for an IT Software Engineer that is proficient at writing code to interact with APIs (both our own and that of SaaS solutions), automating (almost) all of the things, configuration management, and generally finding creative ways to solve problems with code using GitHub.
Experience with Git and GitHub is a must for this role. In addition, communication skills and empathy are critical, as GitHub is a globally distributed company that relies on asynchronous communication to get work done. Please consider including a link to your GitHub account with your application! We would love to see your work.
If this all sounds like fun for you, please check out some more details below!
