Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer- Remote available

Encova Insurance, formerly Motorists Insurance and BrickStreet Insurance, has an immediate opening for an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer. This role will have the option to be fully remote or work a hybrid schedule at our Columbus, Ohio or Charleston, West Virginia location but must have the ability to travel to the office on an as needed basis. We can hire at multiple seniority levels depending on candidate qualifications.

JOB OBJECTIVE:
The Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is charged with the oversight of the provisioning, de-provisioning and governance of user accounts across the Encova environment; this includes but is not limited to associates, agents, policyholders, and consultants. This team is responsible for the daily administration of IAM platforms and processes, but will also collaborate with other teams to ensure account provisioning, access control, and issue resolution. The team are the gatekeepers to ensure that the proper administration, controls, policy and oversight is provided to ensure the continued success of the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Participate in the daily administration required to maintain the IAM platforms
• Administrate and maintain IAM components; including but not limited to account provisioning, user attestation and governance, as well as single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
• Configure, implement, support and administrate authentication gateways and related services
• Configure, implement, support and administrate access capabilities and services; Role-based access control (RBAC), Self-Care, Self-Service, and classification functions
• Familiarity with the HRIS platforms and potential capabilities
• Familiarity with access monitoring and other enterprise level integrations
• Proficiency with token technologies, such as SAML and Oauth, including API integrations
• Proficiency with enterprise system tools and scripting, such as PowerShell or Java(script)
• Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Administrate compliance controls; user attestation, access review, and audit remediation.
• Participate in assessments, reviews, vulnerability management, and penetration testing activities for the IAM environments and services.
• Detect, investigate and recover from security incidents as well as assisting with incident response

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Process Request, Incident and Problem tickets as well as participate in On-Call rotation
• Adhere to Encova IT principles, High Availability, Least Privilege, etc.
• Maintain awareness of current security trends and compliance regulations.
• Share knowledge with other members of the InfoSec team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

This individual will have good working knowledge of IAM technologies, processes and services, as well as policy enforcement and regulatory compliance. They will be working proactively to gain full value from IAM capabilities and features across the Encova enterprise, ultimately positioning information security as an 'enabler' for the organization.

• 3 years IT experience preferred.
• A working knowledge of Information Security concepts, controls and procedures.
• Possess good organization and communication skills
• Self-starter, able to work autonomously
• CISSP or Security+ certifications preferred.
