Job Description:

Become an Information Security Administrator with Capita, home-based with occasional travel to our Manchester office.

Great Opportunity to join a small team to support the delivery of the Information Security Management System for Capita. Working with the Head of Information Governance and Security to support a robust programme of Security Information Assurance activities.

What you'll be doing
Supporting policy and contractual compliance reviews - following standard processes, scoping, planning, completing and documenting reviews in order to improve understanding of policy compliance across Capita and identify areas in need of improvement.

Supporting 3rd Party Security Due Diligence Assessments - Working with Information Security Managers to assess 3rd Party Security arrangements to an agreed schedule.

Information Security Management System (ISMS) . Supporting with the management of the ISMS. Ensuring the integrity of the documentation, identifying improvements based on security review and supporting the development of all security collateral and artefacts.

Administration of Information Security Related requests - Including access request, Data transfer request, Firewall change requests etc

Supporting in the coordination of Pen-testing approach - including scheduling and progressing identified issues.

Coordination of Information Security Related Corrective action plans - ensuring that all actions are owned and progressed to resolution.

Monthly Security Report - Production of the draft Monthly Security Report, ensuring that agreed data, graphs and data has been collated and ready for presentation.

Vulnerability Scanning - Support the monthly vulnerability scanning and following up on identified issues.

What we're looking for:
Information security experience or Information Technology related degree

Self-motivated individual with flexible approach to working.

Desire to build own Information Security Knowledge

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical problems to non-technical business stakeholders at all levels.

Strong written and oral communication skills

Industry recognised Information Security or audit Qualification

Experience of working to an ISO27001/2 aligned framework.

Experience of working in a controls testing/assurance environment
