The Role Junior Commis Chef As part of our team of Chefs, our Junior Commis Chefs work under the direction of the senior Chef team, supporting the day-to-day running of our kitchens. Youll prepare and cook food working across a variety of food and beverage outlets, where no two days will be the same Our authentic Southeast Asian inspired Manado Street Kitchen serves Indonesian food to up to 450 people, and our other outlets include a variety of restaurants serving traditional family favourites, as well as coffee shops, kiosks, a colleague canteen, and a picnic parlour. The Package Youll be working sociable hours typically during zoo opening hours which are generally between 10am and 6pm, although evening or early morning work will be required for events such as weddings or corporate functions. Contract hours are 40 per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays and overtime will be paid for agreed additional hours.
