Head of Content up to £50k London (flexible options) Our client is seeking a senior content producer to lead the project management and content production for a new UK-based launch event. Experience in B2B events and a comprehensive understanding of emerging technologies and influences is key could this be you? Savvy Media are working with one of the market leaders in business exhibitions to find an engaged and fluent Head of Content who can engage with thought leaders across this newly launched events ecosystem and hold their own, with experience in the technology sector, or publishing; media; or events, a pre-requisite. This show is in a sector central to digital transformation over the last couple of years and will immediately launch as the leading show for the sector in the UK. Key responsibilities include: -Strategic input and planning: Work with the Marketing Manager, Marketing Director and Event Director plus the wider team to develop and implement conference and content strategy, positioning and key messages and product strategy. -Content creation: Oversee speaker community building, social media and digital strategies that drive speaker engagement, interaction plus brand affinity that could improve the speaker experience. -Programme production: Develop strategic conference development plans and ensure these are communicated effectively to wider teams. Ensure these align with core positioning and key messaging for each event. -Measuring performance: Execute the conference strategies and report on effectiveness and results ensuring all elements achieve required performance criteria. -Regularly review conference plans, run rates/KPIs, speaker criteria, and industry changes to ensure efforts are effective and successful, making recommendations and adjustments as appropriate. -Collaborate with the commercial team: to support commercial campaigns through conference sponsorship. This includes providing conference opportunities to drive revenue across all products such as digital, sponsorships, and future revenue opportunities. -Stakeholder relationship and partnership building -Budget responsibility: Manage conference budgets, purchase orders, and liaise with Finance on reporting requirements. The successful candidate will have a track record of successful experience and delivery as a senior conference producer; a collaborative mentality with teamwork as a must; and be a comfortable budgeter. A track record of delivering deep audience engagement; being able to act as a brand ambassador and opinion leader in the field; and the ability to hold ones own with other key opinion leaders is also necessary.
