Key Account Manager Energy

The successful candidate will have experience in the M&E, HVAC, renewable energy, building services or social housing sectors. Our client specialises in the decarbonisation of heat with turnkey design and delivery energy efficiency upgrade projects, adding value to its clients in a number of ways from high quality project delivery, provision of funding solutions and technical consultancy services. Additionally, our client is a market leader in the UK housing sector for communal and district heating and has an extensive portfolio of clients including local authorities, housing associations and county or city councils. The business has a strong can-do ethos with a passion for making things happen. Our client has experienced a period of significant growth in its client base and is seeking a Key Account Manager working across London to ensure key clients are delighted with the service and all aspects of contracts run smoothly with swift customer focussed resolution where issues occur. The key accounts will be social housing providers and local authorities with projects focussed on heat decarbonisation within residential properties. The Key Account Manager will be involved with key clients at all stages of project development, from contract award to design and delivery. You will manage client communications and work closely with engineering and operations team for seamless contract delivery. You will be responsible for managing and measuring client satisfaction and building strong relationships across various client stakeholder levels. You will support the Directors in account managing existing key customers in these regions and developing and seeking further opportunities with clients. The Role Account management Drive long term, positive client relationships Attend project progress meetings with clients and ensure actions undertaken by all parties in a timely manner Manage communications, ensure clients are reported to as required and in agreed formats Liaise closely with engineering and operational delivery teams to ensure seamless project delivery at all contract stages Manage, resolve and report on any issues or complaints Report further work-winning opportunities to Directors and assist in their development Assist the Directors in production of commercial discussions with clients Assist clients in the production of approval documents and internal project briefings and proposals Act as initial point of contact for all client queries Manage allocated accounts and provide regular updates to Directors The Person Customer and key account management experience Excellent communications skills with ability to communicate at all levels and develop strong interpersonal relationships Ability to communicate complex proposals simply Excellent organisational and time keeping skills Ability to produce high quality client reports swiftly Confidence, tenacity and drive High quality service focussed High level written experience in similar settings Good commercial acumen Full clean driving licence and willing to travel Experience in the energy or construction sectors Experience of UK social housing markets Understanding of district heating and renewables markets An attractive basic salary (permanent), bonus and an extensive benefits package is on offer to the successful candidate, along with longevity of work and career progression given the companys market leading status, and their dedication to continued and ambitious growth.
