Cons Prod Strat Analyst II/III

Job Description:

This position is an individual contributor role responsible for support of strategies and data within Credit and Underwriting.  The individual will drive E2E process controls to strengthen the overall stability of both strategy execution and ongoing process health to ensure automated strategies and the data they leverage are under control and performing as expected.  The individual will act as a primary liaison between Business Control, Business Enablement and the strategy organization to support:

- Develop independent and comprehensive strategy simulation tests to ensure automated strategies are performing consistently and as intended

- Act as liaison between strategies world and execution team to ensure newly requested changes are vetted and incorporated into ongoing testing

- Test strategy installs and quickly escalate possible coding defects or other concerns to business partners to ensure timely remediation

- Enhanced communication routines and partnership with key business partners to improve transparency and drive operational excellence

- Develop and monitor critical credit model/attribute reporting to ensure our critical tools are in control and performing as expected

- Package findings for socialization with Strategies, Business Enablement, Legal, Risk, Compliance and senior leaders which articulates associated risks and recommendations

- Demonstrate a curious nature and question what doesn’t make sense

- Remain flexible and juggle multiple complex work streams at a time

This position requires being a subject matter expert on multiple business-related and technical-related topics.  Furthermore the candidate needs to possess the ability to independently drive improvements and proactively consult with partners to identify business needs and solutions.  The candidate must have the ability to quantify and report out based on large quantities of data. Candidates will be required to dive into complex data structures across multiple LOB to quickly acquire an in depth knowledge and demonstrate impact in a timely manner.

Required Skills:

- 2+ years programming and analytics experience with SAS/SQL, Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint

- Knowledge of the core credit platforms utilized in consumer and small business banking

- Understanding of statical functions (e.g. standard deviations) and tools

- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

- Knowledge of credit policies and procedures for consumer or small business lending

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent presentation and organizational skills; ability to collaborate, manage and expand relationships across the organization and with all levels of management

Desired Skills:

- Strong understanding of credit strategies, how they are executed, and how decisioning data is passed downstream for analysis. 

- Expertise regarding the relationships and processes between credit strategies and strategy execution teams is highly desired

- Previous work experience in strategies and/or strategy execution
