Dispatcher/Customer Service

GM OILFIELD & TRUCKING SERVICES, LLC is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our dispatch department. Must be able to multitask in a busy environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year with dispatching multiple trucks in the Oil & Gas industry. This position pays hourly, however the average work week is 60-80 hours a week, overtime is paid after 40 hours. We offer company paid health care for the employee. Job Description:

1) Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones.

2) Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules.

3) Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and field inspectors using telephones or two-way radios.

4) Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.

5) Prepare daily work and run schedules.

6) Receive or prepare work orders.

7) Oversee all communications within specifically assigned territories.

8) Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules.

9) Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information.

10) Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications.

11) Advise personnel about traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, and other hazards.

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ Years Experience dispatching oilfield Class A CDL Drivers.
  • 1+ Years Experience in Oil & Gas industry.
  • 1 + Years Vacuum Truck Services Knowledge.
  • Preferably Bilingual
  • 1 + Years Experience with Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Must be able to type 45 WPM or higher
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to Learn and Teach drivers you manage
  • Must be able to work 12 Hr. plus shifts and flexible to be scheduled day/night shifts Monday-Sunday. No schedule conflicts can be accommodated at this time.
  • Must have dependable transportation to/from work, ability to drive to fuel station to assist drivers fueling, and dependable cell phone.
  • Must have Knowledge using ELogs to help assist with drivers HOS.

Job Benefits:

  • $15-$19 hourly rate DOE, working 60-80 hrs.
