Billing Assistant

Bazen Electric is a conservative family owned and operated business serving West Michigan since 1957. Founded by the late John Bazen Sr., the company has grown steadily over the years and currently has a staff of over sixty employees. This position will serve as billing support to the Service Department. A successful candidate will be an administrative professional who is committed to providing accurate data entry and invoicing. The following qualities and skills are highly valued, though we are willing to train for this position.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Able to perform repetitive clerical and data entry tasks
  • Commitment to double check work for accuracy
  • Willing to learn office procedures, custom accounting software
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Make routine calculations, prepare forms and reports, retrieve information
  • Accounting background is helpful
  • Willing to cross train to fill in for other office areas when needed
