FP&A Analyst

Job Summary:
This individual will report to CFO and will be based in Long Island, NY. This role will be an integral part of their financial planning and strategic initiatives team and will lead projects and assist the C-Suite on financial, strategic and operational initiatives across multiple businesses. The role will have high exposure to our financial sponsors, board members and practice partners with a goal to positively impact shareholder value and returns. The FP&A analyst will be responsible for all regular and ad hoc financial management reporting and must ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity of the reports. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assist in the integration and performance management of portfolio Develop budgets across the organization, including forecasts of future business performance using multiple scenarios Track company-wide performance against budget via monthly and quarterly forecast updates Develop and communicate key financial metrics to create transparency into financial performance and inform strategic and operational decisions Partner with our leaders to support and implement strategic decisions, including pricing, cash flow, capital allocation and strategic transactions (partnerships and M&A) Improve operating teams' understanding of their financial levers and performance, and budget adherence, with thoughtful and transparent analysis and partnership Analyze large data sets to identify trends and develop insightful reporting. Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures Assist on special projects for the President / private equity partner Create PowerPoint presentations summarizing the results of analyses used to present the results to senior management, board of directors, and private equity firm

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related discipline. 2-5 years of hands-on strategy, FP&A, corporate development, Investment Banking or accounting experience Ties to tristate / Long Island and a desire to be there for the long term Highly proficient in Excel Motivated and effective in a fast-paced culture Thrives in a self-starter environment with lots of freedom within a framework High attention to detail Analytical Mindset and problem solver Able to work comfortably under pressure and meet tight deadlines This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and the employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
