Implementation Consultant/Project Manager

SyncHR by PrimePay is a cloud-native Human Capital Management (HCM) software, streamlining HR, benefits, and payroll management for mid-enterprise businesses. SyncHR is a team-oriented application, meaning it is utilized by the entire business, not only HR. SyncHR's software platform is built on a position-based architecture to help businesses plan, operationalize, and measure results better. 

The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for providing exemplary support to our new customers by ensuring a smooth and successful configuration and implementation of the SyncHR solution. The Implementation Consultant will work as part of an Implementation team to ensure all customer deliverables are met.

Responsibilities include:

  • Able to work on a project from inception to completion, while working directly with customers to understand project needs and goals
  • Facilitate meetings to analyze the customer’s business requirements to develop and refine functional requirements
  • Act as a subject matter expert and power user to the organization in all things SyncHR and provide training on enhanced processes and new functionality
  • Partner with the SyncHR Care team on analyzing problems, developing and implementing solutions pertaining to system functionality, configuration, and documentation
  • Successfully collaborate with team members and customers in both remote and in-person settings
  • Discussing potential projects and their parameters with clients, executives, and software developers
  • Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance
  • Participating in and supervising each stage of the project.
  • Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines
  • Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests.
  • Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information

The Ideal Person for the Job:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience working directly with customers, ideally in a technical or service-oriented role
  • Past experience working with software implementations within the HR/Benefits/Payroll space
  • You are passionate about your work and helping customers be as successful as they can be
  • You like technology and are comfortable learning and using sophisticated software solutions and systems
  • Previous proven success in collaborating and building strong relationships with customers, partners and internal cross-functional team members is required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to convey and relate ideas to others
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
  • BA/BS Business, Computer Science or similar field preferred. Relevant work experience may substitute for required education
  • Proven experience in project management and software development
  • Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
