Who You Are

As the Student Success Technology Manager, you will be the collegewide co-lead for the implementation and administration of the Navigate technology platform. In this position, you will utilize technological expertise to co-coordinate implementation of EAB Navigate for Front Range Community College (FRCC), including integration with other technologies and third party solutions. In order to achieve successful implementation, you will build strong working relationships with staff, administrators and faculty. You will also assess the needs of students, staff and faculty to measure progress, manage risks proactively, and be able to leverage the technology to align with student success work at the College.

You will work with the other Student Success Technology Manager to implement technology. You will also work with the Colorado Community College System staff and key leaders across the college, work collaboratively with both academic and student affairs departments, and support the college's equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives. The person in this role is innovative, excellent at building relationships, self-motivated, and takes initiative, learns well individually, and excels at time management.

In this position, you will often travel to the different FRCC campuses and occasionally work evening hours.

Please note: this is an on-campus position. You need to be a Colorado resident on your first day of employment.

SALARY: Low 50's annually.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Manage and coordinate effective implementation of EAB Navigate, including effective integration with other existing software, in support of Front Range Community College's student success needs. Coordinate technology project plan, including project details, deliverables, schedules, tasks, and assignments with all user groups and partner with EAB and System work leads.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to EAB users across the college including technical troubleshooting, integrating existing systems and services, support for upgrades, and data migrations.
  • Support Director in developing and delivering training for EAB Navigate, and other third-party technology projects for students, faculty, and staff college-wide as appropriate.

Required Experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of three years coordination/project management of technology programs, or other leadership experience.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new tools and technologies.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts and functionalities in conversation by providing support to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen effectively, identify critical paths quickly, and adjust plans and approach as necessary.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience working with or administering software or technology programs.
  • Experience working within the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) at the system office or a college; or a similar institution of higher education, community organization, or large institution.
  • Familiarity with EAB Navigate, and/or other similar educational technologies.
  • Ability to function effectively as part of a distributed team, working effectively as an individual contributor, team member, and as a manager of a complex project and project resources.
