Manager, AdOps, AdServer & Impression Based-Buys

As a leader on the newly created AdOps team, the Manager, Advertising Operations, AdServer and Impression-Based Buys is a hands-on position that will work closely with AdOps Leadership, Account Executives, Sales Leadership on a daily basis to manage and navigate impression-based proposals, contracts, and scheduling. This Ad Ops Manager will be supported by Digital Operations, OUTFRONT Technical Services, the Product Team, and the Business Transformation Office to facilitate their successful support of the sales organization. This position will serve as the primary point of contact and be tasked on all day-to-day AdOps related activities. Initially this position will handle the majority of AdOps duties, but as impression-based audience campaigns ramp-up through the AdServer, the incumbent will take responsibility for onboarding and managing additional staff, while joining alongside in the planning and administering of campaigns.


  • Works to coordinate OUTFRONT's Impression-Based Digital AD Ops efforts.
  • Works hand-to-keyboard, interfaces with sales staff, to plan, initiate, launch, administer AdServer campaigns utilizing the Hivestack platform.
  • Verifies that digital campaigns are meeting contracted levels and are functioning correctly, while adhering to inventory management policies and best practices.
  • Foster leadership throughout AdOps regarding AdServing, continuously providing training and knowledge.
  • Become a voice in developing relevant and contextual materials used for internal and external presentations in conjunction with the sales teams related to AdOps.
  • Partners with both Local and the National Sales teams, including liaising with Regional Sales VPs, to build out tactical approaches to ad server campaigns, used in response to client RFPs.
  • Proactively identifies and recommends opportunities and integrations with data and tech partners to improve and enhance the OUTFRONT AdOps offerings.
  • Identifies risks, dependencies and determines contingency plans.
  • Keeps abreast of competitive intelligence


  • Degree or diploma in Business (or a related field), or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional technical sales, AdTech/AdOps, programmatic advertising, and/or digital sales experience in a related field (Media, Agency, Customer), with a focus on strategic approaching and applications to AdTech.
  • Highly effective team building, project management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills to meet critical deadlines.
  • An understanding of and, ideally, experience within the out-of-home media sector, a keen eye foremerging trends and utilization of those trends for increased market share.
  • Superior communication, both oral & written, with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic, self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Knowledge of media specific computer/database - crosstab programs, audience measurement database background (PMB/BBM/RTS, COMMB, Navigator).
  • Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
