As one of the Application Developers for the Global Expansion technology, this team member must have an understanding of OBIEE architecture, dashboard, repository, reports & BI Publisher.

This team member will be responsible for BI development, design, customization, validation, deployment and support (which also include working in close interaction with rest of DEV team members and interaction with Oracle vendor team)

In addition, this team member will:

  • Document the various updates made to the product, based on business functional and non-functional requirements, then work with other members of development teams to socialize and update design
  • Support all aspects of BI development, design, customization, validation and deployment
  • The team member will have to work on L3 issues and provide timely support
  • Working with Global team in a shared service model
  • Report status to Technical Lead / Technology Manager
  • Work with the analyst team in understanding the requirements and in creation of the JIRA tickets for DEV effort and prioritize them to meet up to the DEV, testing and implementation timelines
  • Involved in issue resolution and debugging the code for issues that may come up during testing and in Production
  • Understand BCP, quality assurance, information security and compliance requirements and analyse changes for risk to the environment


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • 5+ years of OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) experience
  • 3+ years of business intelligence experience
  • 2+ years of experience creating executive level dashboards, analytics, and reports using advanced visualization tools
  • 2+ years of application production support experience



Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience
  • Windows OS administration experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of application development in a banking environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience learning new software on the job
  • 2+ years of Agile experience



Job Expectations

  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled
