Deputy Program Manager

A thriving Information Technology & Services company is looking to hire a Deputy Program Manager is based in Austin, Texas.  This resource will assist the Program Manager with the coordination of all activities relating to the delivery of services to customers for a specific Program.

This position is Contract to Hire and will have a Hybrid work model.  Candidates must be local to Austin, TX.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Managing Project Management Teams
• Managing ITIL Governance Teams
• Facilitating the delivery and monitoring of contractual requirements
• Subcontracts Management
• Staff On-Boarding and Off-Boarding
• Workforce Rationalization

Basic Qualifications
• Experience in an IT Operations and Maintenance environment
• Ability to present oral and written discussion of analytical findings using narratives and graphic illustrations
• High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications
• PMP certification
• Agile project management experience
• ITIL certification
• Experience supporting public sector customers
