GENERAL FUNCTION 

The eCommerce Manager oversees online activities planning across multiple retail websites.

These activities include brand campaigns, retail store events, eCommerce promotions, product launches and more. The Calendar Manager leads the different CRM activities involving online across several retail brands, working in coordination with the CRM shared services team and external vendors.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Oversees the overall online marketing calendar for eCommerce business in alignment with eCommerce managers.
  • Manages marketing communication strategy structure based on brand calendar alignment Analyzes sales and expense reports to improve margin, revenue, and processes.
  • Implements and maintains on time and qualitative execution of the marketing calendar partnering with the content team.
  • Partners with the CRM team to define and deliver customer retention and loyalty strategies.
  • Cooperates to maximize customer lifetime value strategies ensuring maximum profitability.
  • Partner with CRM to monitor results of customer targeting activities.
  • Monitors and analyzes the database and the segmentation for targeted marketing activities
  • Provides information and counsel concerning retail operations to support strategic development and improvements in growth and effectiveness.
  • Assists with management of online metrics and makes recommendations for continued improvement and optimization.
  • Analyzes various business initiatives and campaigns launched on websites.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in direct & digital marketing - solid understanding of direct marketing principles
  • Knowledge of eCommerce business models, specifically how to drive eCommerce sales through innovative, effective and cost efficient marketing/merchandising programs and strategies
    Knowledge of the digital ecosystem and how eCommerce, web, mobile, social, search and channels work together to optimize behavior and acquisition
  • An analytical, problem solving and results-driven approach to eCommerce challenges
  • Knowledge of online marketing tactics (SEO, SEM, Email)

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Retail industry experience
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar tools
