Sales Operations/Customer Relations Manager

Elecsys Corporation, a subsidiary of Lindsay Corporation, is currently seeking an experienced Customer Relationship Manager, preferably bilingual in English and Spanish, in Olathe, KS. This role is full-time and will be responsible for managing relationships with current customer base and new customers, manage CRM database system and support sales staff.  We are looking for an experienced individual who can step in right away, contribute and make a difference. As a part of the Sales team, you will work in a collaborative environment with all Elecsys departments to accomplish and build relationships driving a united company.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with current customer base and new customers
  • Drive new opportunities with current customer base by discussing upgrades and new product features
  • Support Sales Team, create quotes and assist outside Sales Team with services while traveling
  • Work with Sales Team to develop campaign strategies for marketing messages or product updates
  • Enter sales orders, confirm receipt of purchase orders, and review orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Following up with customers regarding active quotations and look for ways to turn quotes into orders
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers regarding discrepancies or order updates
  • Provide order status and tracking information on shipped orders
  • Work and communicate with the Sales and Business Development team and other internal departments, such as Planning and Engineering, to conform to customer requirements
  • Manage CRM database, enter customer concerns or complaints, routinely updates ship to addresses, contacts, and prospects
  • Maximize the use of CRM to manage and track opportunities
  • Support Marketing activities in social media (LinkedIn, FB, Twitter), Tradeshows & Conferences and other customer facing events and activities
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of all Elecsys product lines and the applications in which they are used
  • Miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years Microsoft Dynamics experience
  • 2 to 3 years sales support experience
  • Bilingual skills with fluency in English and Spanish preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and as a self-starter
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
