CV Services Group is seeking a Leading Hand Electrician to join our Electrical Construction team, working on a high rise commercial and residential building project. This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on electrician ready to take the next step, leading a small on‑site team while remaining actively involved in delivery.
About The Role
You’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day delivery of electrical works on a major high rise project. Leading a small team, you’ll coordinate site activities, ensure works are completed safely and to a high standard, and keep programs tracking to schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small team of electricians on site
- Deliver electrical packages on high rise / multi‑storey construction projects
- Coordinate daily works to meet program and quality requirements
- Ensure compliance with WHS, AS/NZS wiring rules and site standards
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and project teams
- Set the standard for workmanship, safety and professionalism
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Trade qualification as an Electrician with a current Queensland Electrical Licence
- A solid grounding in construction electrical works (high rise / multi‑storey exposure is ideal, but not essential)
- The confidence to lead by example, coordinate a small crew, and keep daily tasks moving
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of AS/NZS wiring rules and construction methodologies
- Current Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card
