Worthy Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing Kalgoorlie team. This residential role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of light vehicles, 4WDs and mine-site support vehicles across our modern workshop and local client sites, while enjoying the benefit of being home every night.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on light vehicles and 4WD fleets
  • Tough Dog Suspension and GVM installs
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carry out engine, transmission, suspension, steering and brake repairs
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Complete accurate service reports and maintenance documentation
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and workplace safety
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet operational requirements

What You'll Need

  • Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic (Australian recognised)
  • Experience servicing and repairing light vehicles and 4WDs
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
  • Experience working on mine‑site support vehicles is advantageous but not essential
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence (Manual required)
  • Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Positive attitude, reliability and a strong commitment to safety
