About the Client: One of Australia’s leading footwear suppliers, with successful operations in Australia and around the world, is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join its brand-new Dandenong South Facility.

About the Role

A leading manufacturer of rubber footwear and industrial shoes: This is a hands‑on machine operating / production role working with rubber extrusion and die press machinery in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The position involves operating machinery across multiple stages – from raw material preparation through to extrusion, pressing, finishing, and packing.

Day Shift times: 08:30 – 16:00

Afternoon Shift times: 16:00 – 00:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparing raw materials for production processes
  • Operating rubber extrusion machines and die press machinery
  • Moving products between machines throughout the production process
  • Assisting with mould setups, changeovers, and machine adjustments
  • Conducting visual quality inspections on finished products
  • Cleaning and preparing products for dispatch
  • Performing manual handling and general production duties
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

About You

  • Recent experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience within the rubber industry, textile manufacturing, or extrusion processes (beneficial)
  • Ability to work with rubber extrusion and die press machinery
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on skills
  • Reliability, good attention to detail, and a strong focus on quality
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods
  • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
