Pearl are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter for our client, a WA owned supplier to the construction and building industry. Based in the north‑east suburbs of Perth, this position will commence on a temporary basis with a view for permanency within three months. This role will involve day shift hours only, with potential to move into a shift‑pattern roster down the track should that be desired.
The Role:
- Perform repairs and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults efficiently.
- Assist in installation, assembly, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Must Haves:
- Relevant Trade qualification (NZ & UK Trade Certs accepted)
- LV or HD trade certificate also accepted
- Ideally hold WAH and CS (or willing to obtain)
- Current Driver’s Licence with own transport
- Permanent resident of Australia (holiday visas considered if residing in Perth long‑term)
- Able to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug and alcohol test
What’s on Offer:
- Monday – Friday – 6:00 AM to 2:06 PM roster
- $57.10 per hour plus super, with penalties for hours over 38 per week
