We are an IT Consultancy based in Osborne Park. Our clients span a broad range of industries including Healthcare, Mining and Resources, Government and Not for Profits.
Hands-on SharePoint experience is essential for this role. Applicants without SharePoint Online experience are unlikely to be progressed.
About the role
We're looking for team members who are passionate about technology and problem-solving, whether it is a simple issue that enables a user to work faster or a solution that improves efficiency/productivity for a big team. If you have had exposure to any of the following, then this role could be for you;
- Gathering functional or technical requirements
- Requirements gathering experience is preferred, however training will be provided to suitable candidates
- Site configuration level experience with SharePoint is essential for this role
- Experience as part of a project delivery team
We're also welcoming applicants with Document Control or Records Management experience who'd like to explore a move into business analysis and consulting. We value your domain knowledge and will train the right candidate to build the technical skills needed for the role.
Responsibilities
Leading discovery workshops and attentively listening to understand the rationale behind decisions
Collaborating with clients, business managers, team members and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical requirements
Advising clients on the adoption of solutions based on best practices
Implementing our proprietary SharePoint solutions in line with business and technical requirements
Explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders to gain buy-in on the proposed solution
Developing documentation to support recommendations and solution configuration
Delivering training for our solutions and providing ongoing support of our solutions to existing clients
Skills and Experience
Ideally our new Business Analyst will have:
- A minimum of 1-2 years hands-on experience with SharePoint
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving and logical reasoning
- Good interpersonal skills, able to deal with technical and business stakeholders
- Experience in a consulting or similar role also an advantage
