Role Overview
We are looking for passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team in our residential facilities in Clayton South. The role is night shift only, with competitive salary and benefits.
Day‑to‑day Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate clinical care activities, ensuring residents receive high‑quality nursing aligned with their needs and care plans.
- Provide hands‑on nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, catheter management, and specialised nursing interventions.
- Conduct comprehensive shift handovers, communicate critical updates and review care plans quarterly or as required.
- Address resident and family concerns promptly, documenting outcomes.
- Perform clinical assessments and monitor health status, implementing interventions.
- Assign tasks to Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers based on competency, providing supervision and clinical guidance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families and residents to develop and adjust care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in aged care.
- Act as an advocate for residents’ rights, dignity and personal choices, aligning care with their preferences.
Qualifications & Success Criteria
- Tertiary nursing qualification and current AHPRA registration.
- Experience in aged care, preferably in residential settings, with the ability to oversee complex clinical requirements.
- Strong dedication to delivering high‑quality aged‑care services.
- Sound practical knowledge of ACFI, accreditation standards and aged‑care regulations.
- Current National Police Check.
