Port Augusta Isuzu are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing workshop team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship and enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a range of heavy vehicles to ensure peak performance and reliability.
About the role
- Analysing and diagnosing mechanical problems
- Repairing and servicing trucks, buses and other heavy machinery in line with Job Cards
- The planning of jobs and ordering the required parts
- Completion of all paperwork regarding work performed
- Mentoring apprentices and assisting with their development
- Maintaining a commitment to safety in the workplace
About you
- Trade qualification in heavy diesel/motor mechanics (dual trade advantageous)
- Extensive industry experience
- Proven ability in technical diagnosis and repair a range of machinery and heavy vehicles
- Ability to identify specific parts or components
