A permanent full-time opportunity exists for an Extruder Operator based at CopRice Wangaratta. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Extruder and ancillary equipment of the Extrusion plant, ensuring production requirements are met on a daily basis.
Duties
- Complete shift operating tasks safely
- Follow production plans and adjust to meet changes in product demand and ingredient supply
- Ensure plant and equipment is operated and maintained to standard
- Ensure food safety compliance of ingredients and finished products
- Operate Forklift
What You Will Need
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Forklift licence essential, or willingness to obtain one
- Mechanical aptitude (will be assessed)
Required Competencies Include
- Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping and bending is required throughout the shift
- Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools
- Ability to learn new processes quickly and troubleshoot difficulties whilst maintaining quality standards
- Competent computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal customers/team members
Hours
Rotating 2-week Schedule (Mon–Fri)
6am–2pm | 2pm–10pm
