User Experience Designer

Our client is looking for an experienced UX Designer to join a multidisciplinary team—comprising or product owners, program managers, developers, testers, and AI specialists who work on delivering impactful, user-friendly digital solutions that support operations.
Your Role
As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping intuitive digital experiences by translating user needs into effective interaction models and functional designs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver scalable, long-term solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and translate user needs into clear interaction models and features
- Design user-friendly web and mobile interfaces using best-practice UX patterns
- Plan, conduct, and analyse user testing to continuously improve solutions
- Contribute to and evolve existing design systems in a structured way
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders in sprint cycles
- Deliver high-quality designs aligned with long-term product vision
- Navigate and manage stakeholder expectations within a complex organisation
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a UX Designer
- Proven experience in responsive design for web and mobile
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX processes and design outcomes
- Experience working in agile environments within large/complex organisations
- Solid stakeholder management skills
- Experience with content-driven design
- Basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an advantage
- Fluent in Dutch (CEFR C2 level)
Tools & Technologies
- Figma
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) or similar
- Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision or equivalent
- Experience with AI tools (e.g. Claude) is an advantage
