About the Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for supervising daily operations within the Further Processing area to ensure production targets, quality standards, and food safety requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate production teams to achieve daily and weekly targets
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, WHS, and animal welfare standards
- Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage labour allocation, workflow, and shift planning
- Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate production and compliance records
- Foster a positive, high-performance team culture
About You
- Proven supervisory experience in a meat processing environment
- Strong understanding of further processing operations (value-added, packing, portioning, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP), WHS, and quality assurance
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
