A fast-growing Australian specialist lender is seeking a commercially astute Head of Sales to lead and scale its national sales function.

The Opportunity
This is a newly created leadership role designed as part of the company’s long‑term succession and growth strategy.
You will work closely with the CEO and Sales Director, gradually assuming full ownership of the sales function while helping introduce the process, structure, and reporting frameworks required for the next phase of scale.
The role combines strategic leadership, operational discipline, and relationship‑driven sales, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building structure while working closely with teams and industry partners.
What You’ll Be Doing
Sales Leadership
Lead and develop a national sales and client management team
Establish clear performance expectations, coaching frameworks, and accountability structures
Build a culture of high performance while maintaining the collaborative and positive environment the team values
Broker & Referrer Growth
Own and scale the organisation’s broker and referrer engagement program
Strengthen relationships with brokers, accountants, and financial advisers
Identify opportunities to expand referral channels and deepen existing partnerships
Sales Operations & Process
Drive CRM adoption and data‑driven sales management
Implement structured reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management
Introduce processes and operational discipline that enable consistent growth
Strategy & Execution
Work closely with the executive team to translate commercial strategy into clear sales initiatives
Develop territory planning, resource allocation, and sales growth strategies
Monitor performance against key commercial metrics including new business growth and referral channel performance
