Remit
- Design individual exercise programmes for each member based on their exercise experience, medical background, and personal goals.
- Train PF members during PE @ PF hourly sessions.
- Submit all individual training programmes or workout logs administered to members to GM for review.
- Front desk operations when not busy training during the PE @ PF hours (selling memberships, handling cancellations, file maintenance, club tours, info calls, daily cleaning and refilling paper products).
- Inspect all Matrix and Life fitness equipment for possible malfunctions or damage and report if any are found.
- Inspect AED equipment.
- Oil the equipment (once per week).
- Monitor the “30 min Express” area for people who are using it inappropriately.
Experience / Qualifications
- Certifications: Certificate 3 & Certificate 4 in Fitness.
- Must provide club with a copy of valid certification or proof of working toward certification.
- If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred or 3–5 years of experience in a similar field.
- Gym work experience and fitness background preferred.
- Certifications from an approved and accredited Australian Fitness Provider.
- Must be currently First Aid & CPR certified or willing to obtain within 3 weeks of employment and provide club with a copy of the certification.
- Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date.
- Must have completed a National Police Check certificate (within 12 months of application).
