Part Time • Hourly Rate: From $3.458 (plus applicable penalty rates)

About the Role

We’re seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our supportive team in Turramurra. In this role, you’ll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. You’ll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering active support aligned with each client’s goals and support plan(s).
  • Assisting with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing).
  • Using safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans.
  • Facilitating community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport.
  • Building trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, reports and records.
  • Working collaboratively within a close-knit team.
  • Responding appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Willing to work active night & sleepover shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles.
  • Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient.
  • Experienced in disability support (preferred).
  • Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable).
