About the Role
We are seeking a NV2, Security Operations Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and ongoing security of a stand‑alone network environment. Working under the direction of the Solutions Lead and Security Operations Manager, the role will focus on monitoring, managing, and enhancing the security posture of the environment, ensuring compliance with security policies and operational standards.
The successful candidate will administer security platforms, support vulnerability management, maintain system hardening practices, and contribute to documentation and operational procedures.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Monitor, administer, and maintain security applications and controls within the network environment.
- Manage and maintain cyber security tools to ensure the environment remains secure and compliant.
- Administer and maintain Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator and associated components.
- Perform vulnerability management, patching, and remediation activities across operating systems and applications.
- Investigate security incidents and identified vulnerabilities, ensuring remediation actions are implemented in a timely manner.
- Administer and maintain SIEM capabilities and support security monitoring activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), build guides, and patch management plans.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of security policies, standards, and operational documentation.
- Contribute to the development of project security documentation and technical design artefacts.
- Maintain and enhance technical expertise across relevant security and network technologies.
- Ensure all security records and support requests are accurately documented and managed in line with operational procedures.
Requirements and Experience
- Administer Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) including ENS, DLP, and Solidcore.
- Perform patching and updates to remediate critical vulnerabilities across systems and applications.
- Ensure operating system and software updates are applied within required compliance timeframes.
- Administer and configure Tenable Nessus for vulnerability scanning and remediation activities.
- Administer and configure Splunk to support SIEM monitoring, log management, and alerting.
- Assist in the development of SOPs, build guides, patch management plans, and technical design documentation.
- Experience administering Trellix ePO, including ENS, DLP, and Solidcore.
- Strong experience with Tenable Nessus for vulnerability management and system hardening.
- Experience with Splunk, including log onboarding, searches, dashboards, and alerting.
- Strong knowledge of security hardening across operating systems and applications.
- Experience with patching, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management.
- NV2 is required.

Security Clearance Requirement
