This role is based in the Inner-Southern suburbs and would suit someone that is a performer and is looking for that next career step towards higher quality work and larger clients.

Our ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of trusts, financial statements, taxation returns, BAS, and IAS, and be able to provide complex tax advice to clients.

SEEKING:

• Intermediate Accountants / Senior Accountants
• CA or CPA-qualified / or near completion
• Minimum 3 years of Public Practice experience in Australia
• $85,000 to $145,000 (pckg) / Commensurate with experience

DUTIES:

• Prepare financial s/ments & ITRs for individuals, p/ships, companies, trusts

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for mainly SMEs and/or HNWIs

• Dealing with CGT, Div7a, UPE, GST, SBTC, FTE/IEE, and FBT

• Assist with ad-hoc projects as required and audit assistance to clients

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients

• Comply with professional standards and relevant legislation

• Provide technical advice, whilst managing a portfolio of clients

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data, with all deadlines met

• Support junior staff members with their work papers and mentorship

• Keep up to date with taxation laws and changes, and partake in training

• Implement sound administrative and organisational processes

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
