Electrophysiology Physician
Join a premier healthcare team as an Electrophysiology Physician and make a vital impact on patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in cardiac electrophysiology, focusing on complex arrhythmia management and ablation procedures, while working with cutting-edge technology in a supportive environment. Your skills will directly contribute to life-changing outcomes for adult patients with heart rhythm disorders.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Cardiology with Electrophysiology subspecialty (BC or BE)
- Valid Arizona medical license or eligible for licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing cardiac electrophysiology procedures
- Proficiency with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system and performing TEEs
- Ability to perform moderate sedation independently
- Experience with ablation procedures, with documented 100 EP cases in the last 2 years emphasizing ablations
- ACLS certification
- Strong clinical skills and procedural competency in cardiac arrhythmias and device management
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience managing complex heart rhythm disturbances
- Proficiency in interpreting advanced electrophysiology data
- Previous experience working within a hospital consultative service
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certification in Cardiology and Electrophysiology
- At least 2 years of applicable professional experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Arizona-registered DEA license (or eligibility)
- Comfortable performing TEEs and moderate sedation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, including potential overtime and holiday shifts at 1.5x pay rate
