Job Description
- Lead and manage both the product and project aspects for Mechanical engineering from a structural analysis perspective within the energy and natural resources sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions.
- Oversee the design, analysis, and evaluation of mechanical structures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

- Support project delivery within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Lead Mechanical Engineer should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong expertise in structural analysis for unusual structures exposed to elements.
- Strong knowledge of AS1170.
- Experience with wind tunnel testing would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
- Ability to manage projects and lead teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
