Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state (required for travel nursing jobs)
  
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
  
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  
• Ability to float within the Resource Pool as needed
  
• Completion of all onboarding requirements, including health screenings and competency testing
  

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to diverse patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
  
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and perform comprehensive patient assessments
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing care
  
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in accordance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
