Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week

• Every other weekend required

• No call requirement

• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends

• Float to ICU and ED for helping hands approach and patient sitting

• Minimum 2 years of experience required in fast-paced ER environment

• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted

• Strong pediatric population presence - pediatric experience highly preferred

• Epic experience required

• Required certifications: ACLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC, BLS

• Work with all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Handle patient diagnoses ranging from minor cuts and fractures to complex emergencies including trauma, stroke, psychiatric emergencies, and sepsis

• Perform special procedures including conscious sedation, trauma alerts, stroke alerts, and SANE consultations

• Use specialized equipment including Point of Care US, EPOC, Belmont, Ranger, and Teleneurology

• Work in 50-bed emergency department with 36 rooms, average daily census of 70 and 160 visits per day

• Any color scrubs acceptable

• 36-hour orientation including 1 week class/clinical time

• Former employees of Solution Health system not eligible regardless of separation time
