Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with acute care and Level 1 trauma experience and proficiency on GE Revolution or Hi Def scanners.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient acute care setting at a Level 1 trauma facility
• Works with GE Hi Def or GE Revolution CT scanners
• Night shift from 6:30pm to 7:00am with every other weekend required
• Responsible for starting peripheral IVs on all outpatients
• No block scheduling available
• Role includes performing high acuity CT imaging in a Level 1 trauma environment
• Must be able to independently start IVs for outpatient scans
• Weekly orientation starts every Monday except holidays
• Pass/fail testing for Tele/ECG and Medication Test may be required
• Parking may cost up to $43 per day depending on location

Requirements

• Minimum of one year inpatient acute care and Level 1 trauma experience
• Strong peripheral IV insertion skills required
• Prior travel assignment experience required; no first-time travelers will be considered
• Experience with GE Hi Def or Revolution CT equipment required
• Massachusetts RT license required if applicable
• Must have current COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccination (medical exemptions allowed)
• Must not have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in the last 6 months; separated for at least one year to be considered
• Radius rule: candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; locals considered case by case
