Think Talent is partnering with a visionary startup on their first product leadership hire. A well‑funded sports and media technology startup is building a premium, social‑first platform that delivers a world‑class mobile and web experience connecting athletes, fans, and brands.
The Opportunity
The Head of Product is a high‑impact role and the first dedicated product hire. You’ll translate a bold vision into an actionable roadmap and define success metrics that ensure the product experience is world‑class – intuitive, consistent, engaging and scalable.
Key to success will be strategic and execution skills gained within both enterprise and high‑growth digital environments. A willingness to be hands on as needed, coordinating distributed teams and driving delivery aligned to vision through MVP, Beta, and full‑scale launch.
What you’ll do
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery across mobile, web, and AdTech workstreams.
- Translate strategy and user insights into product requirements, user stories, and sprint plans.
- Collaborate with international engineering and design teams to refine, test, and release new features.
- Champion user experience and design consistency across onboarding, posting, and discovery flows.
- Build product analytics and instrumentation to support growth experiments and retention tracking.
- Manage launch readiness, documentation, and feature rollout plans.
- Help shape the product frameworks and systems that will scale as the company grows.
About You
You’re a creative strategist and builder, able to zoom in and out to define strategy and deliver aligned outcomes. Passion for sport, digital communities, and technology. Driven by impact in fast‑paced, collaborative high‑growth environments.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and prioritisation skills.
- A bias for action – you care about what ships and how it performs.
- 4–8 years’ experience in Product Management – ideally across mobile, social, or creator‑tech platforms.
- Experience working with distributed teams (engineering, design, data).
- Strong UX sensitivity and data fluency (DAUs, funnels, retention).
- Figma, Jira/Linear, Notion, Firebase, Mixpanel, or Amplitude capability.
