Position Overview

We are a leading precast concrete manufacturing company based in Tullamarine Victoria, Australia, specializing in high-quality civil infrastructure products. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and pursue new sales opportunities within the civil infrastructure market
  • Present the organisation's value proposition to prospective clients, articulating our competitive advantages and product benefits
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, conducting regular client visits
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Meet or exceed agreed sales KPIs and revenue targets
  • Attend industry events and conferences to identify new business opportunities and market developments
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on the development of sales and marketing materials
  • Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth delivery, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction
  • Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or related industries
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated data analysis skills, including experience with spreadsheets and sales reporting
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet revenue targets
  • Full driver's license with willingness to travel to client locations as required
  • Professional presentation and strong customer service mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a manufacturing environment

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of civil infrastructure products and applications
  • Experience in the precast concrete or construction materials sector
  • Understanding of civil engineering principles and project requirements
