Position Overview
We are a leading precast concrete manufacturing company based in Tullamarine Victoria, Australia, specializing in high-quality civil infrastructure products. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and pursue new sales opportunities within the civil infrastructure market
- Present the organisation's value proposition to prospective clients, articulating our competitive advantages and product benefits
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, conducting regular client visits
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations
- Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Meet or exceed agreed sales KPIs and revenue targets
- Attend industry events and conferences to identify new business opportunities and market developments
- Collaborate with the marketing team on the development of sales and marketing materials
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth delivery, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction
- Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or related industries
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrated data analysis skills, including experience with spreadsheets and sales reporting
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet revenue targets
- Full driver's license with willingness to travel to client locations as required
- Professional presentation and strong customer service mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a manufacturing environment
