Registered Nurse (RN) – Part‑time 0.8 FTE – VON Canada
A non‑profit organization that supports individuals living in their homes and communities, currently hiring a Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality medical care in the Nova Scotia community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to children, youth, adults and seniors in and settings.
- Manage diabetes, dialysis, IV medications, IV/CVAD care, palliative care, phlebotomy and wound care.
- Perform assessments, medication administration and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with community health teams and coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Nova Scotia.
- Experience in community health is an asset.
- Valid driver’s licence with reliable vehicle.
- Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check; Vulnerable Sector and/or Child Abuse Registry check may be required.
- Capability to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
