Papinelle is a globally recognised sleepwear brand loved by women worldwide. Established in 2003 in Sydney. Papinelle has quickly become the go‑to luxury sleepwear specialist in Australia and beyond, trading across ANZ, US, UK and UAE markets, running successful online DTC channels in each region. Also stocked in David Jones, Anthropologie, Victoria’s Secret, Nordstrom and Saks, as well as an expanding retail footprint with its own six stores, Papinelle continues to rapidly grow year on year.
As we continue to expand, we’re seeking an experienced mid-weight Graphic Designer to join our in‑house creative team, based in Rosebery. This is a hands‑on role suited to a designer who thrives in a fast‑paced fashion environment and is passionate about crafting beautiful, effective brand visuals.
You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering world‑class creative assets across digital, print and retail touchpoints, from paid ads and EDMs to website assets, POS materials and brand guidelines. You’ll work closely with the Brand and Marketing Manager, as well as cross‑functional teams, to bring Papinelle’s collections and campaigns to life.
Responsibilities
Creative & Design
- Conceptualise, design and produce on‑brand assets across EDMs, Websites (AU, NZ and US), Social media content, Paid media, Print and POS assets.
- Deliver on‑trend, commercially strong designs that align with Papinelle’s brand aesthetic.
- Develop creative ideas for campaigns, launches and always‑on content, with a willingness to push boundaries while staying on brand.
- Edit video content for campaign launches, paid ads and social media.
Campaigns & Launches
- Collaborate closely with the Brand and Marketing Manager to develop Look & Feel documents for monthly collection launches.
- Execute all creative assets for launches across digital, retail and wholesale channels.
- Support retail activations, including window concepts, in‑store signage and event collateral.
Brand & Collaboration
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Work collaboratively with wholesale, product and digital teams to support wider business objectives.
- Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, UX standards and creative best practices to inform design decisions.
Project & Team Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Own the post‑production workflow by managing one direct report (a retoucher).
- Maintain organised files across all projects.
About You
- Experienced: 3+ years of experience in graphic design.
- Creative: Be a naturally creative person with great ideas and a drive to succeed. Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through visuals and short‑form content.
- Detail‑driven: Have strong attention to detail as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Expert Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Canva skills.
- Proactive & reliable: You take ownership, anticipate needs, and follow through.
- A strong communicator: Comfortable working across creative, digital, and external teams.
- Collaborative & fast paced: Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced industry.
