Pipefitter - Turnaround (Offshore - Oil & Gas)
Wood is recruiting for a Pipefitter – Oil & Gas (Offshore) to join our Operations APAC (West) business in Perth. The role will support mobilisation from February to shutdown in May, delivering world‑class maintenance, engineering and operations expertise on a leading oil & gas project.
This is a casual contract with an even time roster 3:3 FIFO, 12‑hour day or night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Committed to safety at all times
- Pass offshore pre‑employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen)
- Proven experience in the offshore oil & gas industry
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
Qualifications
- Full working rights in Australia – lawful entry to workforce
- BOSIET/T‑BOSIET or FOET/T‑FOET + CA‑EBS – 4‑year validity
- MSIC
- Trade qualification (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication Trade)
- Work Safely at Heights – 2‑year validity
Desirable
- Escape Chute – 4‑year validity
- Flange Management Level 1‑3 (through Cameron / Hydratight)
- Gas Test Atmospheres ticket
- Flange Facing (Basic) ticket
- Confined Spaces ticket
- First Aid with CPR
- Operate Breathing Apparatus
- Fire Watch Familiarisation
What will set you apart
