About The Project

Supporting Seqwater, Ventia delivers preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance along with electrical, mechanical and instrumental services across its water network. Servicing across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams.

About The Role

We are currently looking for the below crew members to support the project in improving accurate asset inventory to allow better planning, maintenance and management of resources across the project: Electrical Tradespeople to join our team.

Key Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Daily inspections: conducting a thorough assessment of Seqwater's current asset data and identifying gaps and inconsistencies which could include motors, transformers, switchboards, PLCs, isolation switches, emergency stops.
  • Utilising iPads on Ventia's customised platform, Novus, for real‑time data entry, validation and cloud storage.
  • Due to the large geography we cover, sites can vary from being close to home up to 3hrs away. With this in mind, please be flexible with working away from home, if you are interested in this project. Accommodation will be provided and allowances will apply.

About You

  • Experience Electrical Trade across large maintenance programmes and networks.
  • Current C Class Driver Licence.
  • Obtain a construction white card.
  • Must obtain your own reliable vehicle; allowances will apply.
  • Trade Electrical Fitter or Equivalent.
  • Ability to undergo a Hepatitis A and B vaccination.
  • Must be willing to undergo a medical and police check as part of the recruitment process.
