Join ERM Australia as a Graduate Consultant in Environmental Impact Assessment, working on impactful sustainability projects in Sydney or Newcastle.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Contribute to Environmental Impact Assessment, Statutory and Environmental Planning, and Ecology Field Work and Assessment projects.
- Engage in large, complex, long-term projects with local, national, and global impact.
- Work alongside a strong global technical network and leading industry professionals.
- Participate in fieldwork programs, visiting project sites to conduct studies and collect environmental data and samples.
- Apply core consulting skills to support client projects and sustainability goals.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Tertiary education in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related degree.
- Recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience or those seeking a career change.
- Ability to commit to fieldwork and follow health and safety protocols.
- Experience recording, inputting, and managing technical data and preparing reports.
- Understanding of or experience with data management software/databases is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to succeed in a consulting environment, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Dependable, with integrity, respect, positive outlook, customer focus, and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Australian working rights.
