Job: Indirect Tax Advisor (North Sydney)

Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-level tax advice in a wide range of taxes (Cross Border, Commonwealth and State)
- Planning and structuring transactions and investments
- Researching, analysing, and interpreting tax legislation with an emphasis on practical, written advice to assist business decision makers
- Liaison and negotiation with the ATO and Revenue Authorities
- Report to the Tax Partners in a small team environment
- Developing a direct advisory responsibility to clients, other Partners and the Forvis Mazars international network
- Some taxation compliance responsibilities, including return and BAS preparation

- Considering candidates from Intermediate to Manager level.
- Willingness to learn in specialist areas such as GST, payroll tax, property taxes, customs duty and fuel tax.
- Willingness to undertake suitable training in the specialisations of your choice.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
