This vacancy is only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants. We are seeking professional and experienced Human Resource Officers to join various teams within our ATO People business area.

As a Human Resource Officer (APS 6), you will partner with colleagues and a range of clients to improve the delivery of people services. You’ll exercise judgment to provide detailed technical, professional advice in relation to Human Resource (HR) issues and manage complex, multi-faceted problems to navigate solutions. You’ll use data and insights to provide expert advice and recommendations on a range of HR topics.

You will build strong professional relationships across your HR network to support clients and ATO business outcomes. You may manage staff or a small team, fostering a positive and inclusive culture, inspiring high performance and successful outcomes.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Albury, Box Hill (VIC), Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Dandenong, Geelong, Gosford, Hobart, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Newcastle, Parramatta, Penrith, Perth, Sydney CBD, Townsville, Upper Mount Gravatt or Wollongong.
