Security Consultant – Accenture Project Environment – Security and Compliance Focus

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Consultant to join our team, focusing on supporting security and compliance initiatives within a dynamic project environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and analytical assessment of security data, with proven experience in maintaining security documentation and collaborating with cross‑functional teams. This role is critical in ensuring the project’s security posture aligns with both client and internal standards, particularly in the context of IRAP (Information Security Registered Assessors Program) requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with conducting comprehensive risk assessments, identifying security gaps, and tracking risks across the entire project environment.
  • Maintain and update the Security documentation suite, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and support preparation activities for assessors.
  • Prepare regular status reports, including detailed reporting around risk findings and key security metrics, for both internal and client stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including the client’s cybersecurity stakeholders and Accenture internal teams, to ensure that all security and compliance requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze security data to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks, and effectively communicate relevant findings to broader stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, assessing, and tracking risks in complex environments.
  • Strong ability to engage, influence, and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including technical teams and business leaders.
  • Proficient in analyzing complex security data and translating findings into actionable insights.
  • Experience in developing, maintaining, and updating security documentation, especially in relation to compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast‑paced project environment.
  • Looking for National Security, International Relations educational background or experience.
  • Proven experience in a security consulting or risk management role within large‑scale projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in or with cross‑functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
